Drive on for another 3km (2 miles), and you will come to the other Temuan settlement, Kampung Pertak 3 [map] . The houses are spread along the banks of Sungai Luit, a beautiful stream that tumbles over boulders large and small. Drive to the end of the village and walk down to the stream. The community charges a nominal fee to go upstream. If you don’t fancy any strenuous activity, this is the perfect place to sunbathe, picnic and splash around in. Again, if you want to visit the village, do ask for permission first.
